          They're also called 911 operators or public safety                        telecommunicators. They take calls from people with                              emergencies or who need urgent care.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer 911 telephone calls
  • Relay information to the appropriate first responder agency 
  • Monitor and track the status of police, fire and ambulance units 
Salary: $36,300 a year

Education: Required to have their high school diploma. Also must pass a writing exam and a typing exam. Have to also pass a background check a lie detector test and a drug test, as well as test for vision and hearing.



I would not like to be this because i think it is to must stress. Like i think that if someone calls and they're panicking ill panic also.
